Grundfos TPD

Grundfos TPD pumps are single-stage, close-coupled in-line centrifugal twin-head pumps with mechanical shaft seal and primally for applications such as heating/cooling/district energy. The pumps are fitted with fixed speed motors.

Description

Back up your system with a Grundfos twin-head TPD pump

The twin-head TPD in-line series takes reliability to the next level. Integrating two pumps in one, it’s the cost-efficient and space-saving choice for critical heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems where failure is not an option. Should a fault occur in one pump, there’s always a standby, ready to take over.

A key feature is the close-coupled design, which means the pump and motor are separate units – making them less sensitive to impurities in the pumped liquid compared to canned rotor pumps. A non-return flap valve in the common outlet port prevents backflow of the pumped liquid into the idle pump, while the specially constructed shaft seal chamber is key to optimised water circulation and a prolonged shaft seal life.

Anti-corrosion surface treatment and high temperature tolerance make the TPD one of the most durable and dependable twin-head pumps for vital systems.
