Grundfos Agricultural Water Intake

Posted by on Thursday, 12 March, 2015

Water distribution is about delivering water to the crop using various techniques, such as pivots, sprinkler irrigation or drip/micro spray applications.

Grundfos Agricultural Water IntakeMaintaining correct pressure and flow in the pipes and at the nozzle means more water per kWh and savings on energy, which is one ofthe highest cost items in farming. Pump control also safeguard the reliable flow of water by protecting the pump from dry-running, motor breakdown or power supply irregularities.

Dedicated to modern agricultural irrigation

Grundfos can supply irrigation pumping solutions that reduce energy costs, safeguards the water resource, and keeps productivity at its best. Our pumping expertise and technology ensure uniform coverage despite changeable conditions. Grundfos offers the industry’s broadest line of irrigation pumping systems. Our pumping systems are efficient, tested for reliability and designed to work seamlessly with modern farming operations.

No matter how big or small the application, Grundfos can supply the necessary pressure and flow for modern agricultural irrigation. Variable speed pumps and easily integrated controllers automatically react to changing conditions and demands to keep running costs down. Each component in the system is pre-engineered to work seamlessly with the next.

Grundfos Unilift CC

Posted by on Wednesday, 11 March, 2015

The Unilift CC is a single-stage submersible drainage pump, designed for the pumping of drain water and grey wastewater. The Unilift CC can pump down to a water level of 3 mm above the floor by removing the strainer. The Unilift CC is suitable for permanent as well as temporary installation. The Unilift CC is fitted with a non-return flap valve in the outlet in order to prevent backflow from the piping system. An adaptor ensures good connections to 3/4”, 1” or 1 1/4” outlets.

Grundfos DWK

Posted by on Tuesday, 10 March, 2015

DWK and DPK are submersible pumps designed for dewatering and drainage applications. The cast-iron construction and the hydraulic design contribute durability and high efficiency. The differences between the DWK and DPK pump ranges lie in the discharge arrangement and the installation type. The DWK is designed with a top discharge pipe and suction strainer, and is thus more suitable for temporary installation, whereas the DPK has a side discharge and a ring-stand or auto coupling (as accessories), and is suitable for permanent installations.

Grndfos RC

Posted by on Sunday, 8 March, 2015

Grundfos RC pumps are used for the circulation of liquid refrigerants in refrigeration systems.

The RC pumps have been designed and optimised for use with CO2 as a refrigerant, but can also be used with NH3 (Ammonia) and selected HFCs.

The low required NPSH and the fact that no traditional loss-generating protective devices are needed can help system designers to reduce the dimensions and cost of the system. The RC pumps have an innovative design in stainless steel which makes specially suited for use with high pressure refrigerants (CO2) – the pump has only one seal between the refrigerant and ambient sides. A version with welded connections eliminates the use of counter flanges and possible leakage in flange connections.

Applications

Grundfos RC pumps are designed for the circulation of liquid refrigerant in refrigeration systems.

Features and benefits

  • Barrel-type, semi-hermetic, high-pressure design
  • Multistage centrifugal pump
  • Canned motor (no shaft seals)
  • High energy efficiency
  • Wide range for variable speed capacity control
  • Low NPSHR and robust to vapour bubbles in inlet
  • Installation and service friendly
  • Compact and low weight.

Grundfos HS

Posted by on Sunday, 8 March, 2015

The Grundfos HS horizontal split case pump is a single-stage, non-self-priming, between bearing, centrifugal volute pump. The axially split design allows easy removal of the top casing and access to the pump components (bearings, wear rings, impeller, and shaft seal) without disturbing the motor or pipework.

The independent bearing housing allows for ease of maintenance without removing the top casing. The double volute design reduces the radial load on the shaft, extending component life, minimising vibration and providing quiet operation.
