The Grundfos DP pumps are designed for pumping drain water and groundwater from installations in or around private housing, farms and small industrial plants. These pumps are also ideal for flood-relief applications and as utility pumps in farming, industry, etc.

DP pumps are fitted with a suction strainer, on which the pump stands. The suction strainer allows for the passage of solid particles of up to 10 mm in size, which is the maximum free passage size through DP pumps. The strainer is easy to dismantle for cleaning or for inspection of the pump hydraulics.
The impeller for the DP range is of a semi-open multivane design. The impeller clearance can easily be adjusted simply by tightening or loosening the adjustment screws at the bottom of the suction cover.

Grundfos’ new range of GHP (Grundfos Hygienic self-Priming) pumps takes efficiency and durability to new levels in sanitary processes.
The pumps are based on the well-known HILGE technology and are further optimised to offer reliable operation even under the tough conditions encountered in cleaning processes.

The single-stage self-priming GHP pumps combine the best of the F&B-HYGIA end-suction pumps with the reliable HILGE technology. The result is an optimised pump range that comes with increased efficiency compared to traditional side-channel pumps and can be counted on for long operational life.
One pump – More applications
Due to the robust construction of the new GHP pumps they are able to handle liquids with a high content of air as is the case in CIP return systems.
In effect, this means that the same pump can be used for product conveyance as well as for the cleaning processes. Compared to side-channel pumps, GHP pumps are also less sensitive to handling products containing particles.
Low noise operation
The GHP pumps feature a new, unique hydraulic technology that allows the impeller to be adjusted to accommodate exact duty-point requirements.
This translates into a noise level significantly lower than compared to traditional side-channel pumps.
Specially designed for sanitary applications
The all-stainless steel GHP pumps have been specially designed for trouble-free operation in sanitary processes such as:
- Cleaning processes (CIP return)
- Evacuation of tanks and pipes
- Pumping liquids with a high gas content
- Pumping liquids in Food and Beverage industries

The SB and SBA pump is a submersible booster pump for the pumping of clean water. It is especially suitable for rainwater applications and private wells. The pump is available in two versions:
SB
The Grundfos SB is a submersible pump for the pumping of clean water. It is designed for use in domestic applications. The pump itself is very silent, and when installed underground in a rainwater collecting tank or well, noise will never become an issue. The SB pump requires an external controller, like Pressure Manager, for automatic operation.
Features and benefits
- Flexible selection – Pump + controller
- Complete control and monitoring
- Easily accessible controller – for service & replacement
SBA
The new Grundfos SBA is a complete all-in-one unit. It is built on the proven SB platform, but comes with an integrated control unit – eliminating the need for an external pump controller.
The SBA is literally a plug- and pump solution. Once installed and connected to the piping, all you need to do is switch on the pump.
Features and benefits
- Easy selection – one unit
- Easy installation – one unit
- Flexible installation – no controller inside the house
All SB and SBA pumps are available in two main variants
- With integrated suction strainer (1 mm mesh)
- Or with side inlet/flexible suction hose with floating suction strainer (1 mm mesh).

All variants are available with or without float switch:
The float switch offers automatic operation and dryrun protection, stop at low water level, ensuring that surface fragments do not enter the strainer.
Applications
The SB and SBA pump is a submersible booster pump for the pumping of clean water. It is especially suitable for rainwater applications.
Features and benefits
- Noiseless operation
- High reliability
- Integrated protection.
- Floating suction strainer
The model with floating suction strainer always draws the water from just below the water surface where the water is clean and free from solid particles.
Additional features of the SBA:
- Simplicity – all-in-one unit
- Easy installation – no external control unit
- Integrated dry-running protection
- Automatic restart after dry-running
- Lifting eye

The Unilift AP and Unilift AP Basic are submersible drainage pumps designed for both temporary/portable installation and permanent free-standing installation. These single-stage pumps are made mostly of stainless steel. All types are available in either single phase or three phase versions and for 50 or 60 Hz power supply.
The number in the type designation, e.g. AP12, indicates the spherical particle size that can pass through the pump.
All Unilift AP and AP Basic pumps are fitted with a plug for connection to the mains.
Unilift AP is a single stage pump with either semi-open impeller (AP12) or with vortex impeller (AP35 and AP50). All Unilift AP pumps are fitted with a stainless steel sleeve for cooling during operation. The strainer at the bottom prevents particles larger than the pump is designed for from entering the pump. The strainer is clipped onto the pump housing. All Unilift AP pumps can be supplied with or without float switch, for automatic or manual operation. Pumps with an ”A” in the type designation are fitted with a float switch. 3-phase versions have an additional starter box connected to the float switch. The outlet is positioned at the top of the pump and is available in Rp 1 1/2 to Rp 2.

An optional non-return flap valve can be fitted in the outlet in order to prevent backflow.
Unilift AP Basic pumps are single-stage pumps (AP35B, AP50B) with vortex impeller. All Unilift AP Basic pumps are made of stainless steel, with a composite baseplate. The Unilift AP Basic range is designed for submerged operation, either free-standing on the base plate or installed using an auto coupling. The pump inlet is designed to prevent to large particles from entering the pump. The base plate is clipped on by means of four clips hidden under the composite ring at top of the pump housing. The ring prevents dirt from sticking to the clips. All Unilift AP Basic pumps can be supplied with or without float switch, for automatic or manual operation. Pumps with an ”A” in the type designation are fitted with a float switch. The outlet is positioned at the side of the pump and is R 2.
Applications
- Water and rainwater in horticulture
- Water from rivers and lakes
- Rainwater, drainage water and water from flooding
- Water for filling/emptying containers, ponds, tanks, etc.
- Effluents from showers, washing machines and sinks below sewer level

The APG pumps are submersible pumps with a horizontal discharge port. They are specifically designed for the pressurised pumping of sewage and wastewater containing destructible solids. The pumps are equipped with a cutter system which cuts destructible solids into small pieces so that they can be led away through pipes of a relatively small diameter. The pumps are available with or without control box and level switch. Pumps without control box must be connected to a separate pump controller with motor starter.

Applications
The compact design makes these pumps suitable for both temporary and permanent installation. They are suitable for both free-standing installation and installation by means of an auto-coupling guide rail system. The APG pumps are designed for pumping:
- Sewage
- Wastewater
- Wastewater with high content of fibrous material
Features and benefits
- Integrated cutting system (APG)
- Dry or submerged installation
- Installation on auto coupling
- Sensors in windings
