Grundfos TP, TPE

Grundfos TP and TPE vertical in-line volute pumps are used in a variety of applications. The pumps are all single-stage, in-line centrifugal volute pumps with standard motors and mechanical shaft seals. The pumps are of the close-coupled type, i.e. pump and motor are separate units. Consequently, the pumps are less sensitive to impurities in the pumped liquid than similar pumps of the canned rotor type.

Two different models of vertical in-line volute pumps are available. Please note that there are a number of specific product variants available for each model. Detailed information on these variants can be found in Grundfos WebCAPS.

GRUNDFOS-TP-Inline-fam

TP pump

This pump model is notable for its high levels of reliability and efficiency.  Quiet, highly-efficient IE3 motors are standard components. All TP pumps are electro-coated to ensure high corrosion resistance.

TPE pump

The main difference between TP and TPE pumps is the motor. TPE motors have a built-in frequency converter, allowing different control methods to be employed. TPE pumps offer benefits with respect to energy savings and increased comfort.

Applications

These vertical in-line volute pumps are used in commercial buildings for air conditioning and heating applications.

Grundfos DW

The Grundfos DW pumps are robust, portable submersible pumps with a vertical discharge port. Available with motors from 0.8 to 20 kW, they are designed to handle dewatering at construction sites, at excavation sites, in building drainage and in similar applications where there is a need to pump raw water or/and at high pressure. DW main parts are made of aluminium in order for them to be as light as possible. This factor, in combination with the compact design and the high-pressure capabilities, make DW pumps portable and easy to handle. The semi-open type impeller is made of high-chrome stainless steel (550HB) in order to increase wear resistance. DW.50.08 (only) has a polypropylene motor housing.

Solusi Efisinsi Total Untuk PDAM Badung

dddGrundfos kembali membuktikan keandalan teknologinya. Lewat kerjasama dengan PDAM Badung Tirta Mangutama, Grundfos menawarkan solusi handal dan hemat biaya bagi sistem distribusi air untuk perusahaan yang telah beroperasi lebih dari 10 windu itu dengan Teknologi Demand Driven Distribution.

Bali, jantung pariwisata Indonesia terus tumbuh,termasuk juga Kabupaten Badung di selatan Bali. Sebagai tempat bernaungnya pantai-pantai dan resor yang terkenal, ribuan hotel dan villa, berbagai kegiatan bisnis serta event dan festival internasional, Badung menjadi tuan rumah bagi rata-rata 2,5 juta pengunjung setiap tahunnya. Itu sebabnya kabupaten ini membutuhkan infrastruktur handal dan berkelanjutan untuk menunjang perekonomian dan industri pariwisata yang terus berkembang.

Satu kebutuhan primer yang harus terjamin pemenuhan kebutuhannya adalah air bersih. Selama ini penyediaan air bersih telah ditangani dengan baik oleh PDAM Tirta Mangutama sejak 1932. PDAM ini sukses meningkatkan kapasitas produksi seiring peningkatan jumlah pelanggan. Sumber air yang dimanfaatkan berasal dari mata air, air tanah, dan air permukaan. Hingga tahun 2012 tercatat jumlah pelanggan mencapai 33.877 yang tersebar dikota dan desa dari petang sampai Nusa Dua. Dengan menggunakan sistem hidrolik konvensional, pompa diInstalasi Pengolahan Air berketinggian 3 meter di atas permukaan laut memompa hingga 3.957m3/hari keseluruh pelanggan.

Sepanjang layanan selama puluhan tahun, PDAM Tirta mangutama telah banyak menghadapi berbagai masalah, diantaranya yakni isu efisiensi. Ada perbedaan cukup besar antara total produksi dan total distribusi air dilapangan. Pada 2012, tercatat sebanyak 21,98% dari air yang dihasilkan tidak pernah sampai kerumah pelanggan. Sebagian besar hal itu disebabkan oleh kebocoran jaringan distribusi. Perusahaan harus tanggap untuk melakukan opti-malisasi sistem produksi dan distribusi air agar tercapai efisiensi melalui inovasi dan teknologi.

Solusi DDD (Demand Driven Distribution) dari Grundfos ditawarkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan efisiensi. Grunfos mampu menyediakan sistem yang terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi kehilangan air akibat kebocoran. Instalasi DDD di PDAM Tirta Mangutama merupakan yang pertama kali dilakukan diwilayah Asia Pasifik.

Tentang alasan memilih solusi ini, Direktur Teknik PDAM I Nyoman Sumarsana ST, MSi menyatakan beliau sangat terkesan dengan hasil penerapan sistem DDD dimana tingkat kehilangan air akibat kebocoran berkurang sebesar 20%, sehingga menghemat air dan mengurangi biaya listrik dan pemeliharaan. “Grundfos telah menjawab masalah kebocoran dengan sistem Demand Driven Ditribution. Sistem ini merupakan terobosan teknologi dalam distribusi air.

Grundfos menginstalasi sistem DDD dalam sistem pengolahan dan distribusi PDAM Tirta Mangutama. Selain Itu, untuk mendukung monitor terhadap operasi aplikasi DDD, Grundfos melakukan sosialisasi terhadap seluruh karyawan dalam bentuk pelatihan-pelatihan dan seminar.

Sesuai dengan namanya, Demand Driven Distribution adalah sistem dimana air didistribusikan kerumah-rumah pelanggan dengan tekanan yang diatur sesuai permintaan, bukan berdasarkan tekanan yang disediakan. Sistem ini berlandaskan pada konsep baru, yaitu dengan tekanan yang lebih rendah air masih bisa dialirkan ke setiap rumah. DDD diterapkan dengan manajemen tekanan, yang memungkinkan untuk mengontrol tekanan dalam sistem distribusi serta menyesuaikannya untuk memenuhi permintaan yang sesungguhnya. Sistem distribusi air yang kurang efisiensi tidak hanya membuang air tetapi juga daya yang diperlukan. Selain itu juga karena tekanan yang selalu konstan baik pada saat konsumsi tinggi maupun rendah, menyebabkan pipa-pipa tidak awet. Akibatnya keborosan juga terjadi pada perawatan  dan perbaikan, belum lagi daya listrik yang terpakai.

Dengan tekanan lebih rendah dalam sistem DDD, lebih sedikit daya listrik yang dikonsumsi dalam distribusi air, umur pipa menjadi lebih panjang, dan lebih sedikit diperlukan pemeliharaan serta perbaikan dalam jaringan pipa. Jadi, selain menghemat air, DDD juga membantu menurunkan konsumsi energi dan biaya pemeliharaan

Grundfos SRP

The Grundfos range of recirculation pumps is the product of decades of engineering experience. Created to handle large flows with low heads, the SRP models are equally suitable for wastewater treatment plants and flood control.

SRP units come in three main variants – DN 300, 500 or 800 mm, fitted with motors from 0.8 to 24 kW. The units share many features with the AMG and AFG gear-driven mixers and flowmakers, making them instantly familiar to service staff and facilitating easy maintenance.

Grundfos Unilift KP

Unilift KP pumps are submersible drainage pumps suitable for both temporary and permanent free-standing installation. They can be used for pumping drain water or grey wastewater. They are also suitable for installation in collecting tanks.

The Unilift KP is a single-stage drainage pump with semi-open impeller, designed for the pumping of drain water and grey wastewater. All Unilift KP pumps can be supplied with or without a level switch. The variants are designated as A, AV or M, for automatic or manual operation. The Unilift KP-AV variant for narrow pits is supplied with a non-return flap valve for installation in the outlet. The strainer is clipped onto the pump housing.

The Unilift KP. Single-stage, submersible, stainless steel drainage pump in a robust design with upward-pointing discharge port positioned on the top of the pump.The outer casing is made in one piece. The mains cable and the cable of the level switch are both connected to a single, vulcanized, water-tight plug which is inserted in a socket on the hermetically-sealed stator housing. The motor is a single- or three-phase synchronous canned motor with liquid-filled rotor chamber and water-lubricated bearings.

The motor is cooled by the pumped liquid flowing around it.

The motor incorporates automatic overload protection which cuts out the motor in the event of overload. When it has cooled to normal temperature, the motor restarts automatically.

Grundfos SB

The SB pump is a submersible booster pump for the pumping of clean water. It is especially suitable for rainwater applications. The pump is available in two main versions:

  • with integrated suction strainer (1 mm mesh)
  • with side inlet which includes a flexible suction hose with floating suction strainer (1 mm mesh).

In both versions, the pump is available with or without float switch. The float switch can be used for automatic operation or dry-running protection of the pump.

Grundfos DP

The Grundfos DP pumps are designed for pumping drain water and groundwater from installations in or around private housing, farms and small industrial plants. These pumps are also ideal for flood-relief applications and as utility pumps in farming, industry, etc.

DP pumps are fitted with a suction strainer, on which the pump stands. The suction strainer allows for the passage of solid particles of up to 10 mm in size, which is the maximum free passage size through DP pumps. The strainer is easy to dismantle for cleaning or for inspection of the pump hydraulics.

 

 

The impeller for the DP range is of a semi-open multivane design. The impeller clearance can easily be adjusted simply by tightening or loosening the adjustment screws at the bottom of the suction cover.

Grundfos NK, NKG, NKE, NKGE

Grundfos NK/NKG pumps are used in water supply, industrial pressure boosting, industrial liquid transfer, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning), irrigation and process industries. Grundfos end-suction pumps are multi-purpose pumps suitable for a variety of different applications requiring reliable and cost-efficient supply. End-suction pumps are used in five main areas of application: water supply, industrial pressure boosting, industrial liquid transfer, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning), and irrigation.   The pumps are all non-self-priming, single-stage, centrifugal volute pumps with axial suction port, radial discharge port and horizontal shaft. The Grundfos NK/NKG range comprises a complete series of long-coupled pumps that comply fully with either EN733 or ISO2858. The pumps are of the back pull-out design, enabling removal of the motor, coupling, bearing bracket and impeller without disturbing the pump housing or pipework. Even the largest pumps can thus be serviced by one person with a crane. The ISO2858 range of pumps are available with a bearing life of 100,000 hours, and can be fitted with double seals. They available in a stainless steel version as an option.

Grundfos RC

Grundfos RC pumps are used for the circulation of liquid refrigerants in refrigeration systems.

The RC pumps have been designed and optimised for use with CO2 as a refrigerant, but can also be used with NH3 (Ammonia) and selected HFCs.

The low required NPSH and the fact that no traditional loss-generating protective devices are needed can help system designers to reduce the dimensions and cost of the system. The RC pumps have an innovative design in stainless steel which makes specially suited for use with high pressure refrigerants (CO2) – the pump has only one seal between the refrigerant and ambient sides. A version with welded connections eliminates the use of counter flanges and possible leakage in flange connections.
